My name is Joseph Wade. Once upon a time, I was part of a regular review column called “Current Releases”. I did it for a long time, perhaps longer than I should have, but that time ran out. It was fun, though. I miss it. But, as we must all do in life, I moved on to other things. My love of movies never really waned; I simply found other avenues to express it. Podcasting, for starters. I still do that, and I enjoy it, but there’s just something about the written word that I’ll always prefer over the sound of my own voice.
I flirted with the idea of pivoting to video like pretty much everyone else on the internet, but I’m no performer. And the pace at which I produce content isn’t going to do me any favors on that front.
So here we are again. An internet blog that I’ve started and restarted a handful of times over the years, hoping this is the one that will stick. And maybe it will!
If you’ve followed me online, whether on social media or through my podcasts or the ancient movie review columns, you know what to expect from me. If you’re new here, I hope you’ll find this work at least amusing, perhaps even enlightening. At any rate, I hope you stick around. I’ll try to make it worth your while.
